We have become aware that someone, who is not the real Covenant Care company, is using a similar logo and address to get information from people looking for work. One of the sites with which this person claims to be affiliated may be: http://covenantcarecareers.com/  Please be advised that is not an authorized Covenant Care website and Covenant Care does not use that platform.

Further, Covenant Care does not conduct final interviews online or by phone.  Covenant Care conducts in-person interviews before extending any job offer.

To protect yourself and others, it’s important to report a potential scam to the appropriate authorities like the Federal Trade Commission[FTC], Internet Crime Complaint Center [IC3] run by the FBI, and your local police department.  IC3 accepts complaints related to internet fraud.  If you were contacted through MS Teams and this involves an internet job offer, it’s a good idea to report the scam to them at Internet Crime Complain Center.  You may want to also file a report with your local police department.  There may not be an immediate arrest, but notification may help with further issues or with bank or identity theft concerns.

When a scam seems financially motivated, it’s important to take precautions including securing your personal information.  Please ensure that your personal details (bank account numbers, Social Security number, etc.) are not compromised. Please be cautious of any unsolicited job offers, checks, or requests for personal information.
