Valle Vista Convalescent Hospital
When you enter Valle Vista Convalescent Hospital you enter a community of compassion. We have been serving the North San Diego County since 1960 and have won over 15 awards for patient care and operational excellence in the past 5 years.
Our facility is a charming 59-bed homelike nursing home, nestled on the hillside in a quiet residential neighborhood overlooking the Escondido Valley and Palomar Mountains. We offer 24-hour skilled nursing services and as part of the Covenant Care family, our staff is committed to providing high quality nursing care and ancillary services in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. This, coupled with our Physical Rehabilitation Department, make Valle Vista an ideal place for either short-term or long-term care.
Our Rehabilitation Services are provided by a team of professionals from AFFIRMA Rehabilitation, our corporate therapy provider. Our therapists are assigned permanently to the facility. Thus, they ensure there is continuity in the patient’s recovery and care.
Residents can be admitted to Valle Vista Convalescent Hospital 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Please contact Sonia Halog, in admissions at (760) 745-1842 for more information.

Testimonials

Catherine joined us at Valle Vista Healthcare November 2011 after she suffered a fall at her home that resulted in a right broken ankle. Catherine was initially non weight bearing on her right lower extremity. The rehab staff was focused on re-educating her to perform physical tasks that she once had taken for granted. Early January 2012, the Valle Vista family was elated to see Catherine’s vibrant smile as she waived good bye to Valle Vista and headed back to her home.
“I was most impressed by the positive attitude that everyone has at Valle Vista. All of the therapists are very encouraging, there were several times that I was getting discouraged, but the therapists would always believe in me and motivated me to do my best. Even the other residents at Valle Vista were supportive of me. I felt like they all really cared about me, and that is important!”
