July is National Blueberry Month, so our facilities will be highlighting this amazing little berry!
When summer arrives, so do all the delicious and healty berries we all love!!! Take advantage of what the season brings and get creative with this llittle fruit – create a delicious pie or add to salads, pancakes, muffins or just grab a handful.
As part of our Dietitian’s Healthy Pick of the Month Program, all month our facilities will be highlighting blueberries and all the amazing ways to enjoy them!
You may also see experts refer to blueberries as a superfood – why is that? Well, like many fruits, they are rich in fiber, low in calories and boast Vitamin C and other important antioxidants. So celebrate with us, and go out and purchase some blueberries and make something delicious!
