This month our facility is featuring sweet potatoes. Part of the Enhanced Dining Service is the “Dietitians Healthy Pick of the Month”. January you should have presented the Healthy Pick Oatmeal. February is National Sweet Potatoe Month, so we will be highlighting sweet potatoes! Sweet potatoes are fat-free, sodium free, high in vitamins A and C and a good source of fiber and potassium. A medium, 5″ long, 2″ diameter sweet potato only has about 130 calories.
