Our Therapy Department is managed by an onsite Facility Rehab Director who coordinates skilled services in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Respiratory Therapy and Speech Therapy provided by a chosen team, which consists of licensed therapists, assistants, and aides who join together to offer the best of quality therapeutic services.

The Rehabilitation Department offers advanced modalities. These include electrical stimulation for pain relief, wound care management, muscle re-education and joint tightness. Ultrasound provides deep heat for pain reduction and muscle spasm. Diathermy offers deep heat for pain relief and wound care.

Our common goal is to work with the patient and the family to ensure a smooth transition to the home, residential care or long term care environment.

Special attention is paid to achieving an optimal outcome by establishing individualized treatment plans for each resident. Our overall focus is to promote each patient's quality of life and assist them in achieving their highest level of independence and safety.

We methodically review and monitor each resident's progress in therapy making sure that the specified objective is met or will be eventually met. A case summary is kept and available upon request for the family.

It is always a joyous event for our facility to see a resident going home from therapy, being able to attend to her or him, or just being able to walk alone, or with minimum assistance or completely without assistance.
