Waldron Health & Rehabilitation Center was acquired by Covenant Care, Inc. in March 2007. Waldron Health & Rehabilitation Center, formerly known as Waldron Health Care Home was established by Charles and Kathleen Kuhn in 1966. In 1977, a new facility was built at the edge of the small town of Waldron and in 1986 a twenty bed addition was added. The Kuhn family was guided by their high regard for family, community and every individual. They were dedicated to the philosophy that high standards are the standard. Three generations later, Covenant Care was selected to continue the focus on quality patient care and commitment to the communities in which they operate because of the focus on high quality rehabilitation as well as skilled long-term care.

In 2011 complete building renovations took place bringing Waldron Health and Rehab Center into a new era of providing high quality care for residents and the families we serve. Renovation included the addition of a new therapy gym and rehab café. Remodeling of every residential suite including private and rehab suites, main dining room, nursing stations, business offices, resident activity lounge and all common areas also was included in the renovations.

Waldron Health & Rehabilitation Center is a 74-bed skilled nursing facility with a staff of 100 full- and part-time professionals meeting the needs of our community and those requiring nursing and rehabilitation services. We are proud of the dedicated and caring staff members; many with 15+ years of longevity and dedication to Waldron Health & Rehabilitation Center.

We offer Physical, Occupations, Speech, and Pulmonary therapies for both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. We have a restorative team, a full-time wound care nurse, as well as on site services for lab and x-ray services. Waldron also has a consulting psychiatrist, podiatry, optometry, audiology, and dental services offered in the facility for the convenience of our residents.
