We are not a "nursing home". We are the rehabilitation specialists, and are available for admissions to Vintage Faire 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We provide high quality of Nursing and Therapy care to ensure a superior level of rehabilitation for our residents. In addition to skilled Nursing services 24 hours a day, we also have Speech, Physical, Occupational, and Respiratory therapies available 6 days a week. This complement of services will assure that the individualized plan of care for each of our residents is followed. Last year alone we successfully sent 292 residents home. Once home, our residents can come back on an outpatient basis to continue their rehabilitation program with the therapists and staff members they have become familiar with. Our staff focus is on building relationships with our residents as well as their family members. We have a newly remodeled "Homeward Bound Suite" where our short term residents can earn this pathway home prior to discharge. The suite is equipped with a full size bed (much like one that a person would have at home), and set up much like a studio apartment. The purpose of the suite is to simulate the home setting so that our residents can get practice in a supervised setting to assure safety and security before going home. When appropriate, we offer home evaluations prior to discharge. The resident and the therapist travels to the resident's home and evaluates the environment for safety and further therapy focus prior to discharge.

All of us here at Vintage Faire invite you to visit our new internet café, where residents can surf the web, check email from friends and family, and play computer games. There are ongoing activity and therapy programs available to interested residents related to computer use.

We also have a newly remodeled "family center", where residents and their families can congregate to interact. We have a Wii entertainment system that is also associated with activity and therapy programs. We encourage family members (kids of all ages) to come in and "Wii" with our residents…challenge grandma/grandpa in a game of strategy and coordination.
