Meet Dr. Adina Smarandache, M.D., double board certified: Internal & Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Smarandache, our Medical Director, visits VV every Monday through Friday and spends between 2-4 hours daily checking on her residents and working with our nurses to ensure that the care we provide meets the highest standards. The benefits of a doctor seeing their patients every day are tremendous. Dr. Smarandache knows her patients very well. Families love the fact that their loved one are seen as often as they like VS once per month.

We are able to do this because of our small size and the intimacy of our relationship with each resident and their family. Many of our staff has been with the facility between 5 and 25 years giving us the ability to provide continuity of care and assuring a comfortable stay as well as provide quality health care. We act as an extended family member providing compassion and attention to the resident.
