Our Therapy Department is managed by an onsite Facility Rehab Director who coordinates skilled services in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy. Speech Therapy, and Physical Therapy Specialty Pulmonary Rehab Program provided by a chosen team, which consists of licensed therapists, assistants, and aides who join together to offer the best of quality therapeutic services.

Our common goal is to work with the resident and the family to ensure a smooth transition to the home, residential care or long term care environment.

Special attention is paid to achieving an optimal outcome by establishing individualized treatment plans for each resident. Our overall focus is to promote each resident's quality of life and assist them in achieving their highest level of independence and safety. It is always a joyous event for our facility to see a resident going home from therapy, being able to attend to herself or himself, or just being able to walk alone, or with minimum assistance. Norwood offers 'out-patient' therapy. This is a wonderful opportunity for a resident who returns to the community. They can return to Norwood with their familiar therapists and continue therapy if needed.
