Fritz Oehler

I was born and raised in Brazil, IN where I currently reside. I have 2 daughters 1 of which is a sophomore at Indiana University and the other will be attending I.U. this fall. I graduated from Indiana University in 1987 with a B.S. Public Health/Health Administration. Following college I went directly into operating my first health care facility in Indianapolis.

I have held positions in various capacities from consulting, operating individual health care facilities, to overseeing multiple facilities. Hopefully with my 24 years of experience I can bring some knowledge and stability to The Residence at McCormicks Creek.

Heather Collins, RN
Director of Nursing

Heather is originally from Paoli, Indiana & moved to Bloomington in 1995 to pursue a Nursing Degree. She currently lives in Ellettsville, IN and has 2 children, ages 19 & 13.

Heather is new to McCormick’s Creek as of 2012. She has been a Registered Nurse with 15 years experience in both acute and long term care. She started in long term care in 1992 as a CNA and later became an LPN and later, an RN. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, boating and spending time with my family.

Brenda Ruble
Certified Dietary Director
Birthplace: Bloomington, Indiana
Married with two daughters and three grandchildren

I have been the Dietary Director at the Residence for over 11 years. I was hired when our building opened in 1998. I am a Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional, and have been certified in Serv-Safe. I am an active member of the Dietary Managers Association. I have been in food service for over 27 years. It is my responsibility to serve nutritious meals, supervise dietary staff, ordering and inventory, and monitoring the nutritional needs of our residents. I enjoy living in the country and watching and feeding all of my “critters”. I also have a cat named Oliver that is spoiled rotten! I love to travel and make hand crafted jewelry. My family and church are a big part of my life.

Megan Wetzel
Administrative Assistant/ Admissions Coordinator

Married with two children

I worked at The Residence at McCormick's Creek in 2006 as a C.N.A. I took some time off to stay home with my son and came back in 2009 and started as a part-time receptionist and was then promoted to the full-time administrative assistant. I love working here, I love our residents and I enjoy being a part of such a wonderful team!

Sherri Carmichael

I have worked at Residence At McCormick's Creek since 2001. I started as a C.N.A, then in 2002 I became the Medical Records Supervisor and Central Supply Clerk. I really enjoy working the geriatric field. Altogether I have 16 years of experience in long term care.
