Selecting a rehabilitation program for you or your loved one is based on need as determined
by professional therapists in conjunction with the resident's attending physician.
The therapy service is managed by an onsite Facility Rehab
Director who coordinates the delivery of physical, occupational, and speech
therapy service delivery.
We offer a full team of therapy professionals to assist
in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Physical, occupational, and speech
therapists are experienced in treating a variety of neurological (such as
stroke), orthopedic (such as knee or hip replacement), and medical conditions
(such as certain types of incontinence, contracture, or wound and pain management).
A resident may receive from an hour per week to 2 ½ hours per day of
therapy services depending on their individual needs and endurance, prognosis,
and prior level of function.
Additionally, a pulmonary rehabilitation program designed
for the treatment and rehabilitation of residents with cardiopulmonary disease
is offered. The program is intended primarily to increase the respiratory
endurance so that the resident can participate in physical or occupational
therapy.
Our overall goal is to promote each resident's quality of
life and assist in restoring the highest level of independence in the basic
activities of daily living.
