"We are certainly impressed by the good humor shown by all your staff members and the care and compassion with which they treat the residents. Everyone is treated with great dignity, even when their actions seem less than reasonable. You are the best!" Bob and Janet Haisman

Lori Opfer: Executive Director
As the new Executive Director of Edgewood I look forward to meeting each and everyone of you!!
Prior to coming to Edgewood Manor, I spent the last five years working for Stein Hospice as their Community Outreach Director. Previously to that, I was employed by Providence Care Center & The Commons of Providence. I have been a licensed nursing home administrator since 1997 and presently reside in Huron with my husband Robert and our two daughters.
Moving Edgewood Manor in a positive direction is an opportunity I am excited about and am looking forward to this new challenge in my career. In the upcoming months, I will be focusing on improving customer service and integrating new strategies to continue improving the care given to our residents. I am interested in learning from each of you your experiences with Edgewood both positive and negative in order to continue to improve our services to our residents, families and community.

Bev Norton: Rehabilitation Director
I have been a licensed physical therapist assistant for 14 years, and hired in @ Edgewood in 2005 as an LPTA to do prn work. A month later I hired on full time. I became the rehabilitation director in March 2007. Oddly enough, I had accepted a full time position with another company, but because I liked the staff at Edgewood so much, I declined the other job offer before I even started there. I cannot tell you how glad I am that I did! In spite of the longer drive, I think that since you are with your co-workers more than you are home, it's a good thing to really like who you work with.
We have great programs, great residents, and a really caring staff. Our # 1 goal is to always improve and do better and that is the kind of attitude I want to be associated with.
