"We have had some experience with a number of other facilities around that area. We have been very pleasantly surprised with the level of exceptional care and attention that Mom has received since coming to Edgewood."
Walt Meyers

When you enter Edgewood Manor, you enter a home of compassions. You’ll see it in our people and in our service. We are committed to meeting the individual needs of our residents, families, and community. We act as an extended family of sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, friends and companions; all united in a circle of care, linked by a covenant of shared responsibility for our residents. It is this community of compassion and attention to individual needs that sets us apart as a model of care.

Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, built in 1977, has been providing quality care for residents of Ottawa County and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We are a 99 bed facility and are Medicare and Medicaid certified for Skilled and Intermediate levels of care. We have a Medical Director, Dr. Thomas Rowe, who is exclusively devoted to Edgewood Manor. Most physicians in our community are also on staff with us.

While Edgewood does an excellent job meeting the needs of it’s long term care Residents, services are also available for rehabilitative stays as well as respite stays when outside care providers need time off. Edgewood offers Physical, Occupational, Speech, and Respiratory Therapies. We also have a Restorative team on staff as well as a full-time Wound Care Nurse and can accommodate IV therapy.

We have monthly Resident Council Meetings and Residents plan a special meal every month. Approximately half of our Residents have some kind of dementia so our building is secured with a Wander guard system that triggers a lock at the front door for those who are at risk for elopement. Our Activities staff is second to none, accommodating all levels of interests and abilities. We also have an excellent dietary department who will always do its best to meet each Resident’s needs and likes.

For residents who enjoy extra pampering, we offer beauty and barber services in our recently renovated Beauty Salon. Open Monday and Tuesday at reasonable prices, we offer haircuts, sets, perms, and color.

We are available to take admissions 24 hours a day 7 days a week if needed. We encourage anyone who is currently, or may be at some time in the future, looking for a rehabilitative, respite, or long term care option to call or come in for a tour. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Come in and meet the Residents and staff at Edgewood Manor and see why… "We Are Families Serving Families".
