Eagle Point Nursing & Rehab Center the Implementation of AccuNurse

Eagle Point Nursing & Rehab Center is pleased to announce that it has deployed Accunurse voice-assisted care. Eagle Point expects the investment in voice-assisted care to take quality of care to new levels by enabling more proactive care and provide more direct care staff time with patients and residents. Before Eagle Point started using AccuNurse, they tediously hand-recorded all patient information. Now all they have to do is speak into a headset, and the data is automatically recorded into a computer. That cuts down on paperwork, increases accuracy and allows them more time to spend with patients. They’re making sure they know specific, up to the minute needs of the patient and easily keep plans of care in line. Caregivers can page each other without ever leaving the patient alone. "To be able to provide more accurate documentation and better communication for our staff is the major goal." Says Kate Delaney, Director of Nursing at Eagle Point. "The increase in communication and knowledge at their fingertips will allow us to provide better care and better assistance to our patients."

"What really caught my attention was that my staff with a click of a button would be able to listen to every perspective of care, immediately 24/7 for the patients as they walk into a room. There is no need to go hunt down paperwork or spend time in interviews to know exactly what kind and how much assistance any patient may need.” says Kathy Gerdes, Assistant Director of Nursing at Eagle Point.
