Downey Rehabilitation Care Center offers nursing care consisting of highly qualified RN's, LVN's and CNA's 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Plus many of our patients are discharged home only after a few weeks of care. We service a variety of patients who participate in Medicare and Medi-Cal as well as the Private, Hospice and HMO Managed Care sector.

Downey Rehabilitation Care Center participates in managed care delivery systems. Contractual arrangements have been made with several HMO networks and area hospitals. We also cooperate with non-contractual insurers on an individual arrangement basis.

It is never easy to make a change, but we are committed to helping you and your loved one in the difficult days of transition from hospital or home, to our skilled nursing center by providing a loving and compassionate staff and a comfortable environment.

Rosa Rivas will coordinate your admission, walk through the paperwork with you, answer initial questions, and will remain a valuable resource throughout your stay at Downey Rehabilitation Care Center.

Maria Cruz is another important family member and has considered Downey Rehabilitation Care Center her home since 1999. Maria is a CNA but has been cross trained to work in a variety of departments.
