What type of financial commitment am I required to make on admission? There is no admission fee or deposit needed. Residents or responsible parties will be asked to sign an admission agreement.

How long will Medicare pay for a skilled nursing stay? Medicare can pay for up to 100 days per benefit period for those residents who qualify. The number of Medicare days is determined by the services needed and progress made in therapy.

Can I use my long term care insurance to pay for services? Yes, the business office can assist with filing the claim forms to receive nursing home insurance benefits.

What happens when I can no longer pay for the care I need? Some beds at Covington Manor are certified for Medicaid for residents who qualify for that state sponsored program.
