Adele Strubele was admitted to Covington Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center
following a hospital stay for uncontrolled Diabetes. Prior to her hospital stay,
she had been living at home with her husband and was independent with everything.
Upon admission to the facility, she required assistance from staff for transfers,
self care and walking.
After 3 weeks of both physical and occupational therapies, Adele was able to gain
her independence back and she returned home with her husband! Adele decided to return
to Covington Manor for outpatient therapy services to continue to improve her endurance
with walking. Congratulations Adele!

Donna Bangert was admitted to Covington Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center following
a hospital stay for a fractured femur. Upon admission to the facility, she required
moderate assistance from staff for all self care and transfers. She was only able
to walk up to 30 feet at a time with a walker and aide from her therapists. After
2 months of both physical and occupational therapies, Donna was able to gain her
independence back with everything, including walking for community distances with
just a cane!! She was able to return home independently! Congratulations Donna!
