We are pleased to announce that Clinton House Health & Rehab Center has discharged a significant number of residents back into the community as a result of our Homeward Bound program. Therapy is a strong part of this program.

Our team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists designs, monitors, and evaluates individualized therapy programs that mimic everyday household tasks. Our Homeward Bound therapy program helps = speed the recovery process, enabling residents to return home. Our staff members monitor the resident's independence prior to being discharged home. Home assessments are also performed prior to discharge to ensure a safe home environment.

Pictured above is Mary Burns, a graduate of Clinton House Health & Rehab’s Homeward Bound Program. Ms. Burns arrived at Clinton House Health & Rehabilitation Center after a short stay in the hospital. Therapists met with Mary to discuss her goals and designed a plan of action. Mary wanted to return home and function independently, in a timely manner. A customized care plan was designed and put into place. Mary successfully completed her goals through her hard work and dedication. She returned home after a short stay of just 2 months.

Anna “Fanny” Belts is another graduate from the Homeward Bound Program at Clinton House Health & Rehab Center. Upon arrival, Fanny met with the therapists to discuss her goals. Her goals included returning home and operating independently, within a three week period. A customized care plan was designed and put into place. Fanny accomplished her goals through her hard work and dedication to her rehabilitation. Her homecoming came just a few days shy of three weeks! Fanny participated in several therapy programs during her stay. One program in particular is Clinton House Health & Rehab’s brand new Diathermy Treatment. This treatment is new to our community and utilized for pain management. Fanny stated, “I would not be walking today without the help of Clinton House Health & Rehab Center!”

Pictured above is Bobby Jo Catron. Mr. Catron arrived at Clinton House Health & Rehabilitation Center after a short stay in the Indianapolis St. Vincent hospital. Therapists met with Bobby Joe to discuss his goals and designed a plan of action. Mr. Catron wanted to return home to his wife, and function independently, in a timely manner. Bobby Jo was very interactive with therapy programs, including a brand new program, the Nintendo Wii! He returned home to his wife, after just 4 weeks of therapy.
