Hello, my name is Tammy Weston and I am the Executive Director. I have worked in healthcare for 27 years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Bellevue University in 1999 and had previously attained a dual Associate’s Degree in Psychology and Biology. I am proud to say that I served in the United States Military for a number of years as well. I have been a Nursing Home Administrator for 13 years. I attribute my passion of caring for others to my Mother and Grandparents who raised me to look for the best in others and if given the opportunity, reach out to assist those in need. I feel so privileged to do what I do as it is my greatest desire personally and professionally to make a positive impact in the lives of others each and every day! Because of this, I maintain my Nursing Assistant Certification as well.
I reside in Millard, NE with my two beautiful young daughters, Ella and Aubri and of course our Schnauzer Rosie, and Violet our Cat. I also have a grown daughter, Cassie and two amazing grandchildren Jayden and Ava. In my free time, I enjoy reading, kayaking, riding motorcycles, playing guitar, and just being outside with my kids. Because I believe communication is the key to success, I welcome new ideas and all forms of feedback to enhance the lives of those we serve!
Theresa Lundy - PT
Facility Rehab Director
I have been the rehab director from Nebraska Skilled for four years now. I started out here seven years ago as a Staff Physical therapist. I graduated in 1999 from the University of Texas medical Branch in Galveston Texas. I specialize in geriatric patients and hold a special place in my heart for the patients with dementia and developmental challenges. Our therapy field is very challenging mostly due to the constant changes in Medicare and all reimbursement. Daily we must find ways to accomplish more with less reimbursement. Throughout the years I have seen a multitude of generations pass through our gym. What works for one generation doesn’t always work for another.
It is very rewarding to work for a company that focuses on getting people to the next season of their lives at the best possible level of function. I feel that the best stance is always remembering we can learn something new everyday and that by keeping an open mind, it’s easier to accomplish this task. I could not have picked a better and more rewarding field to work.
